Glassworld is a four piece Hardcore Rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio. In just a few year’s time, they have performed on the Van’s Warped Tour, as well as shared the stage with top national acts such as: Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, He is Legend, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Hawthorne Heights. Their sound consists of raw, upbeat energy mixed with fluid, driving rhythm. They’re not afraid to take chances with their lyrics that speak of real life experiences, no matter how heart wrenching it may be.
HM Magazine had their own take on Glassworld, during the release of their full length album Wrecked in 2017:
“As far as hardcore/metalcore albums are concerned, it’s truly arresting. Its constant dedication to the central theme along with the high-grade performance throughout makes this debut full-length a great listen. Add to that the refreshing change up of well-executed female harsh vocals, and Wrecked is a promising notch for metalcore.”.
Vocalist Bethany Durbin (The Rose Hill), guitarist Stephanie Roat (Corpus Christi), drummer Danny Hutchinson (A Cry Farewell) and bassist Erik Tomczewski (Friday Giants) have created their own blend of heavy hitting music, fusing bits of Metal, Rock, Hardcore, Screamo, and Punk.
Glassworld released their debut EP Breaking Free in March 2015, their LP Wrecked in June 2017, and their newest EP Breathe in May of 2019.
